If you have a webcam then use movie maker to record the video. open movimaker and then go to capture you webcam should be there, press capture and your are recording.

I think you need some software to do that it called Windows Media Encoder 9, I’ve search that net and find steps to set up to use web cam as a cctv. Try to follow each steps, here’s the site

use firefox as a browser first off
then get the “download helper” addon this allows u to download .flv files ie flash videos from you tube etc
then download VLC media player (google it) its free and plays all video files including FLV.
so you not use as a cctv camra
